If you have boys like i do this is the book you need to give to them.

Maybe I need some therapy. I honestly don't understand why this book is so popular. I was really disappointed with this book after reading many good reviews and being told by friends it was a "must have and will make you cry". No tears, only groans, it really didn't pull any heart strings for me and actually I thought it was a bit weird - as did the rest of my family.

I would recommend it to anyone.just as meaningful to the parent as to the child, maybe more. This book is beautiful, it brings tears to my eyes even when I just think about it.

Read this book to your kid and (s)he'll learn to throw your watch in the toilet, you may sell him to the zoo, pull food out of a refrigerator, say bad words --Oh yeah there's also an image of a kid playing in a toilet. I read this story and thought it was some sick joke. Now hopefully that love will not cross boundaries that include breaking and entering and stalking.I seriously am surprised by the positive attention given to this book. Read that to a three-year-old and see what (s)he'll pick up.Now the premise is touching --your parent will love you forever. What kind of parent stalks their kid through out life. You seriously could make this into a really creepy psycho thriller.

It arrived in perfect condition, and I can't wait to give it to her. I wanted this book for my daughter to give to her son.
